Gong Hey Fat Choy / Gong Xi Fa Cai / Happy New Year!

Inspired by the enduringly glamorous and romantic image of the 'Paris of the Orient' - 30's Shanghai Grand.

These elegant Chinese style lanterns are perfect for celebrations, or just to make you feel glowingly glamorous.

Oval pendants are embossed with a delicate peony & blossom design in shiny gold, along with the chinese character for good luck. The lantern is then dressed with a fine shimmying golden chain fringe & swinging tassel, set with a faceted jadeite glass bead.

The coloured  face is hand-tinted in your choice of Crimson, Rose, Olivine, Misty Blue or Electric Dusk, printed with the same gold detailing.

please note - each lantern is hand dyed with a soft colour wash. Colours may vary slightly from the photos.

Choose between Leather and a Plant-based version.

The Plant-based version is made using materials specially chosen to feel just as luxuriously tactile, lightweight & easy to wear as my Leather Jewels. The beautifully soft but durable surface is made from natural wood fibres, sourced from responsibly managed forests. This is mounted to a strong but lightweight base of eco-friendly bamboo. All products I use to colour, construct & finish these pieces are free of any animal derivatives and, to the best of my knowledge & research, have never been tested on animals.
