Each elephant is individually painted in its own colours and pattern and every one varies. 

Elephants are a symbol of good luck in many cultures. The elephant is associated with Buddha, the Indian god Ganesh and generally symbolises power, wisdom, strength, protection of the home, fertility, long life and all round good luck. When the trunk is up, good fortune will shower upon you. When the trunk is down, wealth will flow into your home.
